What runs in PowerShell when I type "alias"? -

What's going on in PowerShell when I run the "alias" command?

Is this nickname? A function? It appears that the "alias" is a nickname for the gate alias command, yet aka himself does not appear in the list returned by alias - is it being snatched out?

(It's out of curiosity, I'm planning on aliasing "nickname" or nothing crazy again.)

In PowerShell, if anything does not match a command in the search path, prepaid it with" received "and try again. So when you type "nickname", then powerfully try again with "mill aliases", if one does not match against the command.
