javascript - jQuery External RSS Feed Parser? -

-

I'm looking for a decent jQuery feed / XML parser and good plugins like JFID and Jepers (some of them) . None of these supports are able to retrieve external feeds, however, whatever I am doing after that.

Very sure that the plugins themselves instead of jQuery $ by this).

Is there any type of hack that I can use to override jQuery, or is there a raw Javascript option? Better still be a better plugin, but whatever I have found, it also does not support it.

Thanks

Getting started consuming web services in a Ruby on Rails 3 application -

-
Then I'm starting to learn the rail. Now that the train has left 3, then I have to stay in the tracks to learn 3 Ways to Talk One of the things I want to learn how to do the web service with the rest of the third party / the use of work / method of creating a "mashup" application. I have done minimal work in this way with PHP and pre-built libraries. Can someone lead me to some resources, best practices, or do I have a quick 101 text type of API to start working with them? Should I use gems? Update: I'm trying to use the Google Books API (non-standardized) specifically. Since there is no client library for this API, I am thinking that other Ruby / Rail developers are working with APIs that do not come with Ruby Library. This is the reason why I am looking for a more general solution to work with the "fill the fill" API. Update: After some research, I'm going to the Net :: HTTP Library. All the tutorials that talked about it were quite old. ...

objective c - iPhone and it's wireless area -

-
Is this a way to find other iPhones in the category of wireless areas? So I give an example. I'm staying at the airport somewhere I have an iPhone too. I and the other iPhone owners are playing the same game. Is there any way to warn me and the other player that we are close to each other? Does this work even if we are not on the same wireless network, or there is no wireless? And if there is any way to do this, can you give me some starting point? Like a link where I can learn something like this or maybe this is probably the name of this process, because I do not know how to search about this topic in Google. Thanks in advance! Can be completed with peer-to-peer discovery and connectivity you are describing Game Kit Framework Originally I thought it works only through Bluetooth, but after watching it immediately, it seems that WiFi is also supported. Hope it helps!
