What is the advantage of Themes versus CSS in ASP.NET? -

Since themes in ASP.NET are used for the style elements of your site, I was thinking that instead of themes Why use CSS, or is it common practice to use both of them? If so, when will you choose one against the other and why?

I think themes like are unnecessary, so I'm just looking at the explanation if there really is a good reason to use them, or it's an alternative (unnecessary) phase form for styling your site Is a part of the structure. Imagine that you have a site which, for any reason, dozens of asp's of ASP Uses: Calendar Controls

To make them style with CSS, you have to set the weight of properties on each one: Destyle and Title Style NextPrevStyle and after that and on ...

Any topic By using it you can set all of those properties once, and apply it to each ASP: calendar on site There is only one CSS in the subject, but also how to implement CSS in server control, it is something you can not easily do otherwise.

Of course, as Brian Hayden has already said, 'possibly there will be some "global" CSS that remains outside the subject (especially if there are many topics in your site).
