I have a game written in Java on Windows CE, now I would like to upgrade to Windows Mobile 6.x

You need either WinMo version of the exact same GVM version you are using in Windows CE Or you need to close your application in JMV which is supported on WinMo despite knowing that you are not running much against the GVM which you are running against.
